New projects
Carrefourispursuingastrategyofexpansion,openingsandacquisitions,
in collaboration with its various entities and partners. The year 2015
wasparticularlymarkedbythelaunchofexpansionworkontheBourges
andBAB2 (inAnglet) shopping centres andby the layingof the corner-
stone for the
I Viali
project near Turin. At the same time, Carrefour has
opened new centres, such as
Siyuanqiao
in Beijing’s Wangjing district
and
LesMaourines
inToulouse.InFrance,Carmilahasalsoacquirednine
shopping centres, in Mont-Saint-Aignan, Sannois, Puget-sur-Argens
andThionville, the latterwith120shops andaCarrefour hypermarket
that attracts7.5millionvisitors every year.
Hosting events in stores
and shopping centres
WhenaCarrefourstoreiscolourfullydecoratedforanoccasion,
the entire shopping centre gets involved by putting on events
andofferingcomplementaryservices.
To offer visitors a unique experience and make their lives
easier,teamsrolloutjointinitiativesbetweentheGroupstores
andtheshoppingcentre’soutlets.
The development of synergies between the centres’ websites
and those of the banners, general sales events and shared
servicesaregrowing,forthebenefitofall.

and the Carrefour hypermarket created a

enablescustomerstocollectpurchasesfromdifferentbanners
inthecentreatthesametimefromasinglelocation.

“TheForceAwakens”,wasusedasthebasisforaneventaimed
atcustomersinCarrefourhypermarketsandshoppingcentres.
