take into account the vessel country of

operation shipment particulars and be consistent with the priority filled in the ‘Priority for all’ field.

x

Three sets of priority are defined:

o

TOP URGENT (correspond to ‘Highest’ in the scrolling list).

The vessel will be or is already stopped or detained if these parts are not on board; or they can seriously

affect safety matters, lives or operational status of vessel; their lack may lead to damage to Company’s

image or penalties. The parts and/or service are to be purchased immediately and be shipped by the fastest

means available, including hand carrying. This

should

not apply to stores/consumables.

must be advised also by the

appropriate communication means.

o

URGENT: (correspond to ‘High’ in the scrolling list).

The parts and/or service require to be purchased immediately and be shipped by airfreight taking in

consideration the best price and flight availability, delay to be counted in days. This priority indicates that the

parts

shall

reach the vessel in less than 30 days. The parts do not affect the seaworthiness of the vessel and

its fundamental operational status – there is some redundancy.

o

ROUTINE (correspond to ‘normal, low or lowest’ in the scrolling list).

This priority indicates that parts, stores, consumables or service

shall

be delivered within the next 3 months

to 6 months.

All stores and consumables priority

shall

be set as “routine”.
