In accordance with Sovereign Order 8.664 of 26 May 2021 on procedures for freezing funds and economic resources under international economic sanctions and Ministerial Decision 2021-1 of 4 June 2021, the Principality of Monaco has adopted and implemented all the measures decreed by the European Union following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The measures concern both the freezing of funds of natural and legal persons and the processing of financial flows relating to various economic sectors or certain materials and services. CFM Indosuez, in liaison with the Association Monégasque des Activités Financières (Monaco Association for Financial Activities) the Direction du Budget et du Trésor (Budget and Treasury Department) and in close collaboration with the Crédit Agricole Group, has set up a crisis committee to ensure compliance with these regulations: • Immediate implementation of all the texts issued by the European Union or the OFAC; • Freezing the assets of named entities or persons; • Daily monitoring of transactions that may fall within the scope of sanctions and, if necessary, the rejection or freezing of such flows; • The gradual disengagement of economic sectors particularly exposed to these sanctions in terms of banking flows, such as yacht management, or the monitoring of flows in important sectors in the Principality, such as the luxury sector; • Gradual implementation of relationship closure; • Reporting any significant changes to the ACPR in terms of governance, cyber security or assets under management; • Annual reporting to the Budget and Treasury Department of the Principality of Monaco (pursuant to Articles 5g of European Regulation 833/2014 and 1z of Regulation 756/2006) on relations of Russian and Belarusian nationals, not exempt from sanctions, as well as reporting on the population of exempt persons benefiting from a Golden Visa (Cyprus and Malta). The termination of relations with this type of client will not have a major impact on the 2023 financial statements given the low exposure of CFM Indosuez Wealth. Given the current situation, the impact on the 2024 accounts should be just as limited. Annual Report 2023 41
