66 CASH FLOW STATEMENT The Cash Flow Statement is presented using the indirect method. Operating activities represent CFM IndosuezWealth Group’s income-generating activities. Tax inflows and outflows are shown in full within operating activities. Investment activities represent cash flows for the acquisition and sale of interests in consolidated and non-consolidated companies, and property, plant andequipment and intangible assets. Strategic equity investments entered under “Fair value through profit or loss” or “Fair value through other comprehensive income on items that may not be reclassified” are included under this heading. Financing activities are based on changes in financial structure transactions relating to equity and longterm borrowings. The net cash position includes cash, debit and credit balances with central banks, and demand loans and deposits with credit institutions.
