CFM Indosuez Wealth Management // Annual report 2021

33 MESSAGE FROM GENERAL MANAGEMENT CFM Indosuez Wealth Management The year 2021 wasmarked by the acceleration of CFM Indosuez's commitment to society, along with strong growth and balanced revenues. Thebank'ssocial andenvironmental responsibility is thus clearly at the centre of its strategy, for amore sustainable development and to contribute to amore responsible and inclusive economy. Our action is in line with the course set by our Group and that set by the Sovereign for the Principality, with the support of our directors and theMonegasque Authorities, whose loyalty, trust and interest in our development we would like to thank. This support is invaluable in these times of geopolitical crisis that we are all going through together. CFM Indosuez's results are very resilient. They demonstrate the solidity of our business model and the dynamism of all our employees in the service of our customers, and reinforce our position as the benchmark bank in Monaco. The increase in NBI, combined with a qualitative management of expenses that has allowed us to accelerate IT and digital investments throughout the year, enabled us to post a sharp rise in net income to 29.1 million euros. These IT and digital investments are based on a 100% digital/100% human strategy that aims to increase the impact of digital through human intervention. Thus, low value-added tasks are automated and facilitated, while the added value of our employees is devoted to increasing the quantity and quality of the service level offered to our customers by relying on new efficient tools. This digitisation, which has been underway for several years, accelerated sharply in 2021 and will continue in 2022. The developments included in the three pillars of our 2021 business plan were completed on budget and on time, whether they concern the Customer Project, the Human Project or the Societal Project. For the first two, we have seen their relevance and effectiveness through theexcellent resultsof surveysconductedby independent bodies: the Customer Recommendation Index (CRI) and the employee Engagement and Recommendation Index (ERI).With regard to theSocietal Project, westrengthened our actions in 2021 with the creation of an innovative community support investment offering, CFM Indosuez Océano, to support the protection of the oceans with our partner, the Oceanographic Institute of Monaco. 2022 marks the hundredth anniversary of the creation of our institution, by Sovereign Order of Prince Louis II. This year also sees the launch of our next Medium Term Plan which will run until 2025. Ranked as Best Bank in Monaco for the sixth year running by a leading finance magazine (Global Finance), CFM Indosuez has all the strengths we need to succeed. The support of the Group, the solidity of our business model, the commitment of our employees and our presence inall sectorsof thePrincipality'seconomyenable us to face the future with a sense of ambition and calm.
