7 Jeff Mercadié on saxophone Jeff started playing the saxophone as a teenager. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in musicology at Toulouse, he obtained his DEM Jazz in Montauban before joining the CMDL Dammarie-les-Lys in 2014 - he graduated in 2017. He was a student of Stéphane Guillaume. Antoine Vidal On bass Antoine started playing the electric bass at the age 12. In 2011 he entered the Jazz workshop at the conservatory of the 5th arrondissement of Paris with David Patrois. He began his musical studies full time in 2014 at the IMEP, then joined the conservatory of the 9th arrondissement where he studied with Jean Bardy. During 2016, Antoine met bassists Julien Herné and Romain Labaye with whom he developed his jazz, groove, improvisation, and sound. Pierre Lucbert On drums Pierre started playing drums at just 4 years old. The following year he entered the “École Nationale Supérieure de Batterie Dante Agostini” where he studied with Dominique Marseille. He joined the Conservatory of Music of Bordeaux at the age of 14 and was a student of Philippe Valentine. He obtained 2 diplomas “DEM Musiques Actuelles and Jazz” with “honours”. At the age of 13, Pierre entered the professional world by appearing at numerous drum festivals, alongside national and international drummers such as André Ceccareli, Damien Schmitt, Larnel Lewis, Eric Moore ... Auxane Cartigny on piano and keyboards Auxane started studying music at the Conservatory of Tourcoing, in percussion and classical piano. Passionate about jazz, he entered the class of Jérémy Ternoy. After obtaining his National Diploma of Professional Orientation (DNOP) in classical piano and Jazz, he decided to devote himself entirely to improvised music. In 2014, he joined the CMDL (Music Center Didier Lockwood) where he met great teachers and jazzmen such as Benoît Sourisse, André Charlier and Stéphane Guillaume.
